Eurowizja 2021. Hooverphonic - historia zespołu
Pierwsza nazwa grupy brzmiała Hoover, ale zmieniono ją ze względu na zbyt dużą konkurencję. Hooverphonic często określa się jak spadkobierców Massive Attack, ale kolejne odsłony muzyczne sprawiały, że nie jest łatwo zaszufladkować tę grupę. Hooverphonic stąpa po muzycznych ścieżkach z pogranicza popu i alternatywnego rocka. Zespół podkreśla też swoje więzy z muzyką filmową lat 50 i 80. Sami są twórcami ścieżek dźwiękowych do takich produkcji jak "Ukryte Pragnienia", czy "Koszmar Następnego Lata". W przeciągu 20-letniej kariery Hoverphonic wydał 8 płyt i pomimo licznych zmian wokalistów ich charakterystyczne brzmienie w klimacie indie-popu jest znane w całej Europie.
