Eurowizja 2021. James Newman: co wiemy o wokaliście z Wysp Brytyjskich?
James Newman będzie reprezentować Wielką Brytanię w 65. Konkursie Piosenki Eurowizji. Wokalista został wytypowany na konkurs w 2020 roku, ale ze względu na jego odwołanie został ponownie wybrany. James Newman urodził się 19 października 1985. Publiczności znany jest jako piosenkarz i autor tekstów.
Na swoim koncie ma m.in. współpracę z zespołem Rudimental przy utworze ''Waiting All Night'', który zdobył statuetkę Brit Award w kategorii Najlepszy brytyjski singiel czy współtworzenie piosenki ''Blame'' wykonywanej przez jego brata Johna oraz Calvina Harrisa.
W 2017 roku wraz z Jörgenem Elofssonem James Newman skomponował utwór ''Dying to Try'', który reprezentował Irlandię podczas Eurowizji w Kijowie.
W 2020 roku został wybrany reprezentantem Wielkiej Brytanii w Eurowizji z piosenką ''My Last Breath'', której jest współautorem. W lutym 2021 roku został ponownie wybrany przez BBC do reprezentowania kraju. W tegorocznej odsłonie zaprezentuje on utwór ''Embers''.

Newman w wywiadach poprzedzających konkurs nie ukrywał podekscytowania zbliżającym się występem, a także tym, że ponownie otrzymał szansę występowania w imieniu Wielkiej Brytanii po tym jak rok wcześniej odwołano konkurs z powodu pandemii.
