Zac Efron has admitted that he developed a "huge crush" on co-star Leslie Mann during the filming of their forthcoming comedy 17 Again.
Speaking to Elle, the 21-year-old confessed that he now understands why stars such as Ashton Kutcher had fallen in love with their older partners.
"I was wondering at the beginning, how is this gonna work? How am I gonna... you know... [fall for an older woman on-screen?]" he said.
"[But] by the end of the first rehearsal, I had such a big crush on Leslie, I didn't have to fake it. Now I know how Ashton Kutcher feels."
Mann, 36, added that she found it "hard not to be a lady cougar" around the High School Musical 3 star, saying: "One day during rehearsals, I was leaving, and Zac said, 'What's your phone number so I can call your daughter on her birthday'.
"I gave it to him and he turned to the director and said, 'See, I told you I would get it'. He's such a woman's fantasy, especially for someone with an Oedipus complex."
17 Again is released in the UK on April 10.
