The boy was born on January 11 2013 at Cedars Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles, California. This birth certificate shows that Elton has named his second child Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John. The child's third name is the same as one of Elton's most famous 1970s hits. Friends of the Rocket Man singer say he loves biblical names and adored the name Elijah. He already calls his child Eli. On the paperwork Elton uses his stage name in the father's column with his middle name Hercules and last name John. It states his birthplace as England and date of birth as 3/25/1947. His partner David is named as the mother. David James Furnish is listed in the mother column, with his birthplace named as Canada and his date of birth being 10/25/1962. The birth certificate was registered by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health. The certificate was only filed on Monday January 14 2013. Council admin chiefs redacted the signature of both parents and also the registrar as it is a informational document not the original. It is unclear whether Elton or David signed the certificate on 13 January 2013. The document does not name the surrogate mother, who is understood to be the same woman who gave birth to Zach. Registrar Jona Fielding signed off the record which is now in the Los Angeles public records department. Elijah is a Hebrew name which translates as "The Lord is my God." Elijah was a great prophet in Israel famous for performing miracles. His older brother Zachary Jackson Levon was born on Christmas Day 2010 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. That paperwork too has Elton listed as the father with his long term partner, film producer David named as the mother. The certificate was registered January 4 2011. The physician was oversaw both births was Dr R Katz, who works out of Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills. On Monday (Jan 14) Elton enjoyed lunch with Adele at his new Beverly Hills home. At the lunch Adele was one of Elton's first friends to see his new arrival. The British female singer spent several hours enjoying lunch with the rock star. Adele also introduced Elton to her baby boy, who she is refusing to publicly name. A source close to David said: "Elton decided to name his child Elijah as it is such a powerful name with spiritual values. He feels it compliments Zachary too. Both David and Elton are so proud and happy with the name. "He is particularly keen on having the name shortened to Eli, which he likes at it is catchy and classy. "The baby will be at their home full time by the end of the month once it has the first medical." The source added: "Elton was so delighted that Adele came over on Monday to see him. It was the first time he had showed anyone outside of his inner clique Eli, and Adele was blown away. "Adele took her son over to his home too, so the pair were talking more goo goo gaga than business chat. Adele and Zach have already got a bond. "Zach is very excited to have his new younger brother at home full time."
